Our Approach

One of the things that makes us unique in our approach is the fact that we specialize in love, not just any love but the ultimate form of love expression; that is the romantic love relationship. To focus on the romantic relationship is to work on a balanced connection, a partnership, a co-creation of two people. To this end, the services we provide focus on alignment work, may it be alignment between two people in a relationship, or personal alignment, which is alignment between logic and emotion (the head and heart connection) within the individual.

Ultimately, we all want to love and to be loved. But, most of us are less than successful at fulfilling this desire. Is it because other people are just impossible to love or just are incapable of loving us? Or is there something we can do as individuals to lessen the odds against us successfully loving and being loved, since we cannot change others? Our work challenges clients to explore the connection between the love of self and the love for others… to ask questions such as: could my relationship issues have anything to do with the issues I have with myself? Can the fact that I always attract the wrong partner be due to me being out of alignment with myself?

Our work also challenges clients to make a clear distinction between love and relationship. How often do we hear people saying: we love each other and that’s all that matters in a relationship; or, I can’t leave because I still love him/her; or, I don’t love him/her anymore so our marriage has to end. Not to throw in even more confusion, but how about the classic saying: what’s love got to do with it? Well, in that song, Tina is saying that sexual instinct is the motivating force and not love, and yes it can be, just as love can be.

However, just because a couple has love, the powerful motivation force that it is, it doesn’t mean their relationship is guaranteed for success. Relationships are a co-creation of equal contribution between two people who are motivated by love to come into alignment with each other. Most of the time this alignment needs the guidance and support of a professional. That’s where we come in.

We work with singles to get crystal clear on who they are and what they really want in a relationship and to empower them with the tools they need to make the right choices for their dating and selection journey. For those suffering from a break-up, we offer counseling that focuses on healing, recovery, and personal empowerment, to transition them out of a grief state and into alignment again. Our couples work focuses on exploring their strengths as a couple and identifying areas of growth in their relationship. We work to equip them with a roadmap to communication, tools to cultivate emotional connection, and the skills they need to co-create a relationship of their dreams.
